Meadowbrook Heights HOA
Located in the southwest quadrant of beautiful Loveland, CO, Meadowbrook Heights neighborhood is located southwest of the intersection of First Street and South Wilson Avenue. While the east side of the city boasts shopping and congestion, the quiet, southwest corner is peaceful while still maintaining easy access to the northern community of Fort Collins, the southern communities of Berthoud and Longmont, and is just a few miles drive from I-25.
Happy Fall 2022!
On August 25th we had our annual HOA meeting. It was wonderful to see homeowners and put faces to names again. We enjoyed burgers, hotdogs, sides, and delicious desserts together. As a board we are grateful for all the participation and interest in our wonderful neighborhood.
~After our meal, which we were able to eat indoors (due to rain) thanks to pastor Jim at Celebration Church-Loveland, we began the meeting with a presentation from Val Turner with L.E.T.A. 911 (Larimer Emergency Telephone Authority). She provided background information about the organization and how they support our community during emergencies. She also gave those in attendance handouts and resources about emergency preparedness. A lucky few even received a free gift from a raffle after the presentation. Overall we are appreciative of her taking the time to provide us with a better understanding of how we can be engaged and get accurate/reliable information during emergencies. We encourage you to review their website and understand what options you have during an emergency to not only communicate with emergency personnel but also to receive communication about what is happening in your area. https://leta911.org/
~ Julie (Treasurer) reviewed the Profit and Loss Statement as well as Budget for 2021-2022 Fiscal Year which you can find on our documents page.
~Robbie (President) and Mark (Vice President) provided updates on projects for the last fiscal year, including the Sidewalk repair and tree treatment for our ash trees. There was also opportunity for Kelli (Secretary) to address any questions or concerns regarding our survey from January 2022. We discussed violation letters that some homeowners have seen and our goal to be concise and polite. Overall our hope as a board is to use the letters as a means of opening communication with the homeowner about the concern.
~As part of the January survey the board decided it's first project is the entryway at Wilson and Katheryn. We are in process of obtaining quotes for making it more visually appealing with drought resistant plants that will get planted Spring 2023.
~There was a quorum of homeowners that participated. Julie resigned her position as Treasurer and Lisa was voted in as our new treasurer.
~Finally the board requested volunteers for the architectural review board and landscaping committee. We did have 2 individuals respond. If anyone who was not able to come to the meeting would like to volunteer, please use the contact page to email us and we will get back to you.
Enjoy the fall weather, colors, and upcoming celebrations!
